Okay i went through all the steps to change avi into vcd format. Hopefully it will work. I want to know if I really need to use nero to burn it on the dvd because I tried to drag the file on musicmatch and windows media player and neither of them worked. could somebody please help me. thanks alot

If you have mpeg1 or .dat files, then any program that can burn VCD should be able to take it from there.
