DVD needs Tracking??

I have a MPG that I burned to a DVD using TMPGenc and the file plays fine on my PC but when it is burned and in the DVD player it looks like a VCR that needs tracking with the lines horizontal what does this mean? Thanks

this means that you either have a PAL disc when you need NTSC or the other way around. Not sure if TMPGEnc allows you to force one or the other, but some programs will allow it. One program is divxtodvd.
