MyDVD only will burn VCD's but it says it sould also burn DVD

I recently installed Sonic MyDVD on my computer to encode my tapes of Numb3rs but when I open the program it only allows me to burn to VCD. I am using MyDVD 6.0.2

Forget about Sonic and try Decrypter and Shrink.
