I have an xbox running evolution x with a spiderchip that has been working perfectly for about 6 months. My friend has an unmodded xbox. I'm wondering if I can just swap his hard drive onto my xbox, load evolution x off a bootdisk like I did when I installed it on mine and replace the dashboard on his hard drive and put it back in his xbox and have it work. I've never tried to do a softmod and everything with my chip worked without any problems so I haven't had to mess around a lot with it. Any answers or the location of a guide would be appreciated.
