Hi, I know you can get the original dnas code from the original copy of a game and patch the copied version for online play, BUT what if I got one from a Rented game? or if I bought one new and got the dnas code, patched & copied it, then sold the original? Would or could anybody else use the ID's on the originals??? Just wondering!....

Yes you could rent or buy a disc and use the ID but you run the risk of being online at the same time as the other person which can sometimes get you banned from online play.And you then need to change your machine ID to go back online.But dont worry to much sony dont monitor their servers to hard. Its when the code is being used by heaps of users at one time that it gets banned.
