Since I'm new to this type of stuff, a friend suggested buying DVDXCOPY Platinum. Received the software, and my wife installed it first. (All open programs were closed, and McAfee was disabled). The fist disk loaded everything that had to be loaded. It then asked for a second disk, which should have completed the program.
After the first disk finished it asked to re-boot which we did. We then installed the second disk, finished that, and then clicked on the DVDXCOPY icon on the desktop.
The version that we're using is v4.0.3.8.
Here's the error message:
The procedure entry point ?DoPreview@@YGXPADPAXPAUtagRECT@@@@Z coult not be located in the dynamic library playdll.dll.
We printed out the short instructions if problems ensued. We replaced platinum.exe with the included platinum.exe
We replaced the XPress.exe with the included XPress.exe.
We replaced the DVDXRescue.exe with the included DVDXRescue.exe.
The same problem persists.
Also in the program directory of 321 for DVDXCOPY, the installation created a log file. Here's the log file from my wife's pc, since I didn't get any log when I installed mine.

We're both running Windows XP, and this is our first attempt at this type of program. We've both done HTML, she graphics editing, and me audio editing with programs such as Sonar, Acid, Reason, etc., so we're both somewhat familiar with the pc itself, but not this type of program.
Any help would be greatly appreciated to get this program running.
