can I make copies of DVD movies using diferent programs that DVD XCOPY

Hi, i have the DVD Xcopy, but in many cases theproblems to split the movie in two disk is bad, when a look in to the movie if I copy just the VOB files and Menu it must to fit in 1 disk , but program do not allow me to do it , Do you know if I can do it in another way or another program??
