Just a quick question...
...I'm getting the Family Guy season 4 eps online to tide me over until a DVD Release. I've got all the eps shown so far(7) and would like to burn them to DVD. They're all around 180mb in size as whatever file types they are. My question is, after I convert them to a DVD Transferrable file, does anyone know about how many episodes I should be able to fit on a disc.

Must be a typo. They are probably 1800mb in size, and you should be able to get 2 eps without any compression or 3 with minimal compression. Maybe 4 if you are using a good encoder. A single layer DVD holds 4.7 Gigabytes.

No he's right they are about 180mb per episode. I made myself a dvd of The Office US version and I fit all 6 episodes from season 1 on a DVD with a menu so I'd say you can get about 6 per dvd. I wouldn't suggest compressing them very much or even at all because they'll be pretty good quality on your tv if you put them on DVD as is, but if you compress them, then you will start to get bad quality when you play them on your tv.

Yea, the 180mb episodes are actually the hi-res ones posted online. You can actually download ones just to watch in Windows Media at about 30mb each.
I may try and compress a little, just because I know when the actual sets come out, i'll be picking them up the first day they hit.
