Problem when using Window Movie Maker

I used to use Window Movie Maker to edit my own movie, like re-ordering the sequence of clips, things like that. It used to work fine. But recently, when i try to drag the clip down to the time line. An error occur and the program need to close. And later on I notice that problem start after i install a code name 'ffdshow'.

Anyone knows how to fix it?? I uninstalled the code already, but it still not working~~

P.S. Is there any software does the same thing as Window Movie Maker?

don't know much about wmm, but try Adobe Premiere.
it's a pretty good program. definetly better than wmm.
