Installed a fliptop from clearxbox and now i get DRE and i can't open the tray w/ the fliptop down, also before i get the DRE it sounds like a grinding like noise, i'm not sure exactly what it is, but it's not the laser moving, it sounds like the dvd/cd spinning against the white piece in the bottom of the flip thing. also the directions on the site i read said remove memory card ports and the eject/power buttons, but all those are fixed and not attached to the top of my case. did i miss something?
