Hi all,

I apologise if this has been answered a million times before, but I have not been able to find a single solution to this question that actually works. I have tried searching, but found nothing useful.

I have a DVD in NTSC and I want to convert it to PAL so it can be played on a player and tv that doesn't support NTSC mode.

Can anyone who has actually done this tell me how?

I used smartripper to create the vobs and so-on,
I then used DVD2AVI to create a project from them,
then TMPGenc to re-encode as PAL (which created .m2v and .wav files),
I then used DVD-lab Pro to burn it as a DVD

What I ended up with was a disk that played ok, but had no sound and the menu no longer worked.

This must be an oft asked question, so could some kind person write a brief step by step method or point me at such a thing?
