I thought that I should post this query seperately.
I already have 1 Click DVD Copy that I use, however have been using Clone DVD on a Trial basis.
I also use Any DVD from Slysoft.

The question that I wanted to ask is whether I am wasting my money looking at this second program Clone DVD.

However it seems to me that this program Clone DVD may have more flexibility and options than 1 Click DVD Copy. As I was told that if I needed to backup larger media that 1 Click DVD Copy would not be a recommended program.

Thus I was using DVD Shrink for that situation along with Any DVD; however, I am wanting to get a program inDVD Shrinks place that had support and so that is why I have this program on trial.

I have been very pleased with the results so far.

Also can anyone tell me what the major differences would be between "1 Click DVD Copy" and "Clone DVD"??
I am doing reading on as much as I can find on the programs.

I don't have a problem purchasing Clone Dvd if it will handle the job like Shrink and use 1 Click DVD Copy for smaller data backups along with Any DVD.

I would appreciate comments.

Thanking you in advance, I apologize for my Noob inexperience, however I really want to get myself well equipped and knowlegable from the start and continue with my browisng of helpful forums such as this one.

Regards

@Appa
Hi welcome to aD :)

Ur question is very good. I personally have found that 1 click DVD copy confusing to use and u come up with errors left right and centre in my experience.

I personally use Clone DVD 1 & 2 (2 being better, handdles more DVD's and runs smooth)

1) THe way that i burn my DVD's is first by using DVD Decrypter to rip the DVD to my hard drive.

2) then i use DVD Shrink to compress the movie soo it fits too a single layer DVD

3) Finally i ripp the shrinked bersion of the DVD i just put in a seprate folder b4 on to disc using Clone DVD. (note using this method u dont need AnyDVD or DVD43)

U can get these programs from aD

DVD Decrypter (Freeware)

DVD Shrink (Freeware)

Clone DVD (trail version)

This is the way i use the programs in order there are diffrent way to use these programs or just Decypter and Shrink here is the guide

CloneDVD2 is much more powerfull and also provides a lot more funtions than 1clickDVD. What I mean by that is you can cut, split, and join using CloneDVD2 you can also pick and choose what you want to keep or not keep you can burn ISO's or files... OneclickDVD just isn't as functional and not nearly as good at encoding. I would suggest if you just want a very good all around program with support then you really can't go wrong with CloneDVD2 and AnyDVD. :-)

Now with that being said DVD Shrink still provides the most flexability when it comes to backing up your DVD. I really am surprised no one has just copied that program yet and sold it? hmmmmm LOL It's not as easy as most of these other proggys out there right now, but once you get the hang of it you will see it is almost limitless on what you can do with it. However if you want a program with support then CloneDVD2 is a good proggy to get. Now there is one out there that will produce better quality and thats DVD Copy 3 by Slysoft. That proggy will get you to as close to perfect as your gonna get however it lacks some of the functionality of CloneDVD2, but if your more after quality than anything else I would suggest you give DVD Copy 3 a try . You can get a trial version here http://www.intervideo.com/jsp/InterVideoDVDCopy_Download.jsp

Cheers
