After i convert my avi to dvd the audio is about 5-10secs to slow. is there any way to get the audio back on track? any help would be greatly appreciated

This will happen if the Audio in your AVI file is VBR MP3 which most Movies you download off of the Net use....

To Solve this Problem you must Decompress the audio in your AVI file before you convert it to DVD...

There are a Couple of Ways to Decompress the audio in your AVI file, one of the eisier ways is to use "Virtual-Dub" ...

What you do is first run Virtual-Dub and then load your AVI file into it (it will give you a warning about your Audio being VBR MP3) and go to "Video" and set it to "Direct Stream Copy" and then go to "Audio" and set it to "Full Processing Mode" and then go to "File" to "Save as AVI" and give the File a name and save it ....

In a few Minutes you will have a New AVI file with Decompressed audio that won"t go out of Sync after converting to DVD.....

You should decompress the audio in all AVI file before putting on to DVD just so you avoid these Problems....
