I have DivX to DVD, but for each 30 min show i have (vidoe clips) it takes about 35 minutes to transfer in to video ts files. I have many files that i want to transfer but it will take me forever. Is there a way i can get it sped up.

DivXToDVD is one of the Fastest encoders out there so you aren"t going to find a Faster method...

Your PC must be Fairly Slow because on My PC I can encode with DivXtoDVD (Even though I never really use it because it is not a High Quality encoder and only used it to test it) a 2 hour file in about 25 minutes on my 3.1ghz PC....

Most other Methods will also require the extra step of Authoring the File to DVD with a DVD authoring Program which makes the process even longer but DivXtoDVD does this for you automaticly which sort of Sucks cuz you don"t get to make any menu"s or Chapters ect...

Thx, I found a bug on my PC and it was causing the program to run slowly. It is working fine now. Do you know of a good program that will let me create menus and such things. I have Nero, but that thing works as good as a piece of junk.

If you want to create Menu"s and Chapters then you will have to use a Totally different Method of Makeing DVD"s...

You will have to use a Standalone Mpeg encoder Like TMPGEnc or the MainConcept encoder to encode your Files to DVD Compliant mpeg-2 files and then you will have to load the Mpeg-2 files into a DVD Authoring Program Like "MediaChance DVDLab Pro" so you can add your Menu"s and Chapters and to Burn to DVD......

There is going to be quite a Learning Curve doing this Method as you are used to simple Programs Like DivXtoDVD were this other method is Much more Complicated and Takes Longer but you will end up with a Much Higher Quality Picture and a DVD that has Nice Menu"s and other Features you find on Retail DVD"s....

Cheers
