People say this is second class media. Maybe (?) they have improved lately?

I burned one (data) at 8x & almost filled up the disc with files using my Plextor 716-A DVD burner. Tested great with Nero's CD-DVD speed & Plextools.

I still prefer TY media (it's great stuff) but I don't see anything wrong with these four 25 packs from Meritline. Of course I've only burned one disc & it seemed to test better than the two Ritek G05's I got in a Rima sample pack 5 months ago...

Don't know if they are getting better. The last 100 spindle I bought produced a few bad burns. Now it's TY and no bad burns. I can tell you that the Riteks I burned a little over a year ago are still good.

Well I hope this 100 pack is OK. Only time will tell. But I agree. TY is way better media!
