If i instill 250g hardrive on xbox, Will i get 250g or i will lose some GB because of format??

You will loose some because the 250 gig is the raw disk space. The drive itself uses some space, and any kind of format will use some space. This information is based on my eperiance with computers, but it will be the same for an x-box.

However I belive 137 gig isi the largest that an x-box can use anyway, so a 250 gig would not work in an x-box

What are you talking about i seen people do 320gb or 400gb. My ? was how much gb will i lose for 250gb

Rihgt682 is right you can definly put more hardrive than 137gb. I don't know if you will lose some or not maby senior members can help you.

I have a 300gb in my Xbox and im missing around 1 gig of space. At first I was disaponted cause it only read 137 gig but I found out to get the rest add another partiotion to it. But still after doing that i have lost close to 1 gig somwhere.
