hope someone out there can help me, i think you guys do a great job of helping people out...

i've got 7 sins (ps2) on my computer with a cue file and a bin file. i know that the bin file is not corrupted, i've used isobuster to check it out. i've tried burning the cue file in Nero (using burn image) and alcohol120 and i've collected plenty of coasters along the way.

I read a post earlier which said that when the cue file is opened in notepad it sould read something like:

FILE "ROM-7SINS.BIN" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00

initially it read something like:

FILE "c:programfiles\desktop\ROM-7SINS.BIN" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00

so i changed it to the former. i've tried burning before and after the changes but with no luck at all.

i've seen a few other posts about this game but i'm not sure if anyone's been able to burn it successfully.

if someone could offer some advice (eg what settings i should use in nero/a120%) that would be great.

p.s i posted this in the wrong section earlier, sorry for multiple posting.

Thanks in advance :o)

most people have converted the bin image onto a dvd disk,i did,and it works
try burning the bin image with DVD Decrypter onto a cd,or convert to a dvd

thanks hursty. what do you mean by convert to dvd? do i just burn it onto a dvd using decrypter?

by the way, the problem i was having was that swa magic was telling me that its not a valid ps2 disc (when i've tried burning to a cdr).

you cannot burn bin images onto a dvd disk, they need converting first

cheers. i managed to get the cd version working, forgot that i had a cd version of swap magic. works fine with that but my laser sounds like its trying to chop the disc in half! if i do as your link says and put it onto dvd after busting and patching it, will the laser calm down a bit?

thanks for all your help so far, you're a legend

converting to dvd will solve this
