i been using it to back up my playstation 2 games and i always had two files after i was done reading it. one was the iso. and the other one the mds. and know after i read a game only the one iso. file is one the c drive. and i copy this to the blank media and it does not play on my playtation, its like not coping nothing to the media. it even use to let me know when i choose wrong one."you should have chossen mds. not this one,i will do it for you this time but don't do it again". and know i have only on my drive the file that shows the dvd icon. let me know if you guys can help. thanks
Did you uncheck this in Decrypter settings? Click Tools, Settings, ISO Read Mode, then to the left it says options and the first thing listed is Create MDS File.
i did check it on the tools and it does create two files and if you move the mouse over both files one says iso and the other one mds, but both are the icon of a dvd disk and one use to be like a document icon .
To change the look of the icon you must change the program that opens the MDS file. Right click the MDS file, highlight Open with and click on choose program. Select a program from the list and check "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file", click ok. The look of the icon will change and the program that opens the MDS file will change. I don't see how changing the look of the icon would help your burn. I mean you're still getting an ISO and a MDS file. What are you burning with Decrypter, Alcohol, CopyToDVD?
I'M BURNING WITH DECRYPTER ,THATS THE ONLY PROGRAM I USED TO BACK UP MY PLAYSTATION 2 GAMES. YOU SAID TO HIGHLIGHT THE MDS FILE AND CHOOSE A PROGRAM TO OPEN WITH? SINCE I USED DECRYPTER, THATS THE PROGRAM I HAVE TO CHOOSE?. AND WHAT OTHER PROGRAM CAN I USE TO BACK UP MY GAMES , THANKS FOR ALL THE INFO.
