well i was happy with this part of info lol
"U mentioned some games are laggy...push the analog button to the left
to enter settings for the roms, u will ave to up the CPU to 333Hz and frame rate to 5." from sudds

hey sudds. how do i get my emulators to play the rom i want it to play?. at my emenu screen it says [not homebrew] my psp is version 2.0 please help

You have to place your roms in the same folder as the emulator, or create a folder called ROMS inside the emulator folder and place them in there.

Hi. I bought a PSP (version 2.01) yesterday and there is absolutely nothing to do with it. Then I found out you can play roms and emulators on it. I was exited but then I found out that I can't play roms and emulators because of Sony's scam on any version above 2.00. I've read alot about downgrading and I was wondering if this was the real deal. Does this actually work? Can I make it so I can play roms on my PSP version 2.01? If so, can someone please give me a VERY detailed walkthrough? I'm hopeless at this stuff and nothing makes much sense. And also is there a chance I will screw up my PSP by doing this?

Hello tornado7, u can run emulators and such on your 2.01 by means of the UMD of GTALCS (unpatched) which means it has an update of V2.00 on it. GTALCS with an update of 2.60 is patched and wont run any homebrew.

There is a downgrader for 2.01 but am not sure if its safe, so i would recommend upgrading to either 2.50 or 2.60 and then downgrading to 1.50, i have done alot of these and all where successful.
V1.50, V2.71 SE-B run homebrew flawlessly as they allow access to the KERNAL where as the rest only allow USER access.
(Most V1.50 homebrew need access to KERNAL)
Its up to yourself weather to downgrade or not, but you will be able to run stuff better on V1.50 or V2.71 SE-B than any other firmware.

oh and tornado....everything u c here is real no fake no nothing here is fake..ALL REAL few months ago my psp would just be lieing there doing nothing until i buy a game but now i can do everything with it that makes my friends mouth drop.

hi guys i did everything page 1 of this thred said!
but when it comes to loading new game here is were the problem is.
i Load up GTA as normal, press START, select LOAD GAME then select SUPER BOCK and press X, after it says LOAD COMPLETED i press O, highlight YES and press X,
this is when the the ELOADER menu should now boot,
but for me it just goes back to the game.
please guys help me iam desprate to get the snez emu to work,!
couls some1 please post a simple step by step guide how to do it please. ie got windows xp.
i did do it all right i think!
please guys some help here

Please forgive me if this sounds like a dumb question, I was just introduced to all the different things the PSP can do, so I am a Noob. This says for 2.01+. Will this emulator work on 2.81? thanks for your patience.

yeah noticed that, because if you want to open the eLoader it's says the data is corrupted...
I'm a newbie on the emu's for psp, so can anyone say where I can downgrade my psp to V2.70 or something like that, not lower, because maybe I get problems with my movies...

I have a psp with firmware version 2.5, I tried unzipping a snes emu into my game folder, and then unzipping a few snes roms there aswell but no chance, can someone guide me on how to get this to work, and i will truly appreciate it

The only way Eloader will work is if you have an unpatched UMD of GTALCS.
This is the only way homebrew will run on 2.50.

hi sudds.
You helped me out last year with a problem I was having with homebrew.
How are you on 1.5 firmware, I am havin huge problems updating my bosses psp to 3.03 firmware, already semi-bricked it once.

update, I think I have made a big mistake.
I updated the firmware to 3.03 thought it was custom but it was the official sony one, is there anything I can do, can i install an OE firmware or do I have to downgrade?
Is the only way to downgrade done by using GTA LCS?
