but is it okay if its a jap ver.? because some people told me that the japenese motherboard is different some how.
and so all i need to do now is install which winstaller?

hey hexitnow i just bought an japan imported psp pink with firmware 2.81 and i want to downgrade it to a 1.5 so that i can use emulators, homebrew, and etc...is it possible to this in any way?

hey hex..i have a ques.
I have downloaded GTA-VC thinking it will be a iso..but i dound that..the folder contains UMD_DATA.BIN file and another folder PSP_GAME which has 2 more folders ( SYSDIR & USRDIR) along with few diff. .MPF, .SFP and .AT3 files. the folders goes on 1 in these 2 mentiones folders. the total soze of the folder is 1.18 GB. I have 2 GB memory stick. How do I play this game as this is not an iso?

hey hex, to install the 3.03 OE-C Winstaller , all you do is (after i DL the 3.03 OE-C Winstaller) i just plug in my psp and open the 3.03 OE-C Winstaller, then keep clicking next? (correct me if im wong)

1.) Stand on one leg
2.) Download prince - (gonna party like its 1999)
3.) Install Windows Linux on your psp with prince installed to flash0:/
4.) Hook ur psp to a 360 dvd drive
5.) Stick in cd/dvd containing PSP flash files.
6.) Listen to prince
7.) Overwrite OEM flash files with new ones.
Voila 1.5!

yes u can install on a ta-082

yes that is an iso. you extracted it, that's why you have the folders. the one large WinRAR file was the ISO.

yes the pink psp doesnt matter. 3.03 OE-C is on my white ta-082 PSP.

Edit button is not there for aesthetics, it does serve a purpose. Anyhow you need 1.50, 2.71 SE, or any OE firmware. I'm presuming that you don't have one of these as your firmware?

No if you update to 3.11 you will be playing the waiting game for a downgrader for quite a while. THE ONLY WAY you can install this from this point is to find a copy of GTA:LCS (unpatched), download the 3.03 downgrader and use both to downgrade. Once again if you update to 3.11 you will not be able to downgrade.

Is There a way where i can update from my 3.03 to any oe firmware? Because My UMD reader is not working and i cant run UMD game like GTA. so i cant do the homebrew way.

Your kidding me!! I just finished the linux install, am listening to prince, and flashed the new files!!! Now you say i cant downgrade my 3.11??? Wow, that sucks!

I really Hope THere IS Sumthing that help change it to oe firmware and i and upgrade to 3.03oec because repairing the UMD reader is not cheap.

You're going to tell me you went and spent 180+ dollars on a PSP, and you're going to call a UMD Reader expensive ( @ 25 dollars max). Dude I call BS. I think you just don't want to have to buy the game, look for it, or do anything that would actually require real work towards something. Besides why would you take the time to upgrade a psp to 3.03 that doesn't even read UMD's properly.
EDIT:
Only way you're getting to 3.03 OE anytime soon is either a new motherboard that has 1.50 (80+), or a new UMD reader (25).

Crap. i think i posted me problem in the wrong section (sorry). It was supposed to be in here. Right im asking that can i do the installer with a memory stick duo reader or do i HAVE to use me PSP for this to work. And which downloader should i used 3.10 OE-A and 3.10 OE-A2 or that 3.03 C cos im confused :-] Thanx in advance

yes just make sure u select the proper drive letter (e.g. XL) it's mounted as.
