AHH! WinAvi DVD Converting HELP!!!

Ahh! This is driving me CRAZY! I went on their site and got the MPG codec so now I don't get the Access VIolation message anymore but I get initialization error!!! What else do I need to do to convert my VOB files with WinAVI? Please help!

I have found myself trying to convert VOB files on occasion. Think it was down to not being able to easily rip something. It turned out to be out of date decryption modules in DVD Shrink. Used DVD Decrypter to rip the Movie, to completley decrypted format on to HD then used trusty DVD Shrink to fit the decrypted files on to a single layer DVDR. Hope this is of use.

Thanks. Actually though, I have no problem extracting/decrypting my movies from the DVD disc. But, after they are on my computer I want to use WinAVI VIdeo Converter to convert them into AVI files.

Just remembered what i done. Use Nero Vision express and after adding files to video, export to MPG. Then use WINAVI on the MPG to convert to AVI.
