Ok, I've tried ripping this movie(Lord of the rings) but both DVD decrypter and DVD Shrink stop at 24%. Whats wrong?

alright I tried it again and it gave me a cylindricl error or something like that, any thoughts?

This generally indicates a dirty, scratched and/or baddly pressed original. Try cleaning, and then replace if necessary.

i dont think its dirty; its fresh from the case

Then it's probably the other reason, bad original disc.
