How come My PS2 will boot my orignal games perfectly . But when I insert swap magic 3.6 it does not want to read that disk. and when it does its after serveral attempts. ANyone else have this problem? Im using the flip top. When I do get it to work...its great. But PS2 is not reading swap disk very well...makes a spin/click noise while reading. The swap disk are good because i have tried it in another system and works fine. Please help.

clean your ps2 lens with alcohol and cotton swab.

i have.....dont work. i dont think its the lens. Heck it plays fine with dvd movies, orginal games...cd's....everything works fine./. Even the swap magic cd version...but when dvd version disk is inserted....makes noises. But will load after serval attepmts...and several beers later :-) haha...really i have no clue whats the deal. Its frustrating.

Is your ps2 version compatable with SW? If so,maybe the DVD disk is damaged.

yeah it is....its a version 5. and when i ordered my flip top and ordered for version 4-7. It's not the disk. I tried it in my friends.works fine.

It just happens. It happened for me too, and from what I saw it has been happening for a few other people as well. Try it more often. If it won't load after a few tries, then put in an original game and play for atleast 10 minutes. Then turn it off and put in swap magic and try to load it again. It doesn't make any sense, but it almost always help. It will probably read it on the first try. After a few times of doing this it may even start to load on the first try all the time. Atleast, that's how things went for me.
