playback problems on panasonic dmr 50

i have a home video that i want to reproduce, first i ripped it with dvd x copy now i want to burn multiple copies.

1 I did this with other videoes before with no problems using
"DVD X COPY" to rip and using the burning software supplied with
my burner "B's recorder basic" I never had any problems with playback on my home system "panasonic dmr-50 recorder".

2 Now my previous burner quit and i got a new one along with that burner i got a new software "nero", they told me the old software might not work with the new burner. I now do the same process of ripping with dvd x copy but now i burn with nero, but now tese dvds wont play in my home recorder an error comes up saying disk is incompatible.

what's up with that???

someone suggested to change recording format, i tried iso then i tried udf and still no luck.

help.
