I downloaded this software yesterday and while I have it ripping just fine, I can't get it to rip the entire file in one rip.
I have to do it in stages and then use an audio editing software to paste it together.
What I'm trying to do. I am copying individual audio tracks I have on vinyl onto DVD using my Panasonic DMR-E55 DVD recorder and then ripping the audio files onto the HD to add with other tracks via CD to make audio comp CD's for my own listening pleasure.
Problem is I can get sections of the song in a single rip, but not the entire song. Any suggestions on what to look for when setting up the software to rip or a file that actually contains the entire song?
This may be a simpular solution. Once you get your audio tracks to dvd. Use this tool it's called MP3 MY MP3. Play the dvd on computer and then record it with mp3mymp3. It will record in mp3 and wav. With diffrent quality setting for mp3, I used it on a coulple of music dvd's I have and I thought it worked great. Best of all it's FREE. One other solution if you have your turntable hooked to your stereo reciever, You could out put that straight to your sound card via audio left, right rca jacks from reciever to rca-1/8" adapter pluged to sound card on PC. Then you could use musicmatch,Nero, winamp, ect, ect to record audio to mp3 or wav. Just remember it's a wav file that makes audio cd's that will play in any player. I like to back everything up in mp3 and then convert to wav to record to audio cd.
After a little trial and error, need to do one track at a time or the software freezes up when I try to save the entire thing in one file as a WAV file.
The DVD I was trying to get audio off of was home recorded from vinyl sources and I puased between tracks instead of stopping so the menu is not of a normal standard. Still, it worked non the less.
