use swap magic "CD" version to boot DVD games

I read somewhere on here...i cant find it now.. But I believe you can use the CD version of swap magic to boot dvd back-up games. Is this true? If I can remeber right.....You insert "CD" version disk in and let it boot. When screen comes up with "load" eject cd out of tray. Screen now says "Please insert a bigger TOC" Then you insert an original DVD game (any game .silver bottom) then close tray. When screen comes back up ...open Flip top and insert backup. Game should load. I have not been home to try this yet. But I rember seeing this on here sometime today. But I cant find it. Is this true will this work. Being that my playstation reads the CD version of swap better than my DVD versiom. I thought I could use this method in loading the back ups.

When you buy the Swap Disc 3.6 does the flipcover comes with it, and for what does the flipcover work for?

first-the cd version will only play ps2 cd games unless you rebuild the game to fit on a cd. dvd will only play dvd

2nd-fliptop cover is not included.($20-30 extra) maybe less

yeah i was just looking at some of that stuff and yeah the fliptop is only like 15 bucks and that's if you buy it alone so if you buy it in a set it'll be even cheaper

some sets are cheaper, but i've seen up up to 60 bucks that includes swap magic and flip top cover. that way too expensive.
