Yeah, I once tried normalizing my entire mp3-collection. I thought it would adjust the volume so that every track would have the same level. Result: Almost all of my sound-clips(from tv-shows) were destroyed. But thanks, I´ll try the cutting.

MP3Gain is an awesome volume adjuster for MP3 files. Can normalise per song, or per directory (album).

The freeware mp3DirectCut can cut mp3's and it supports cue. http://www.rz.uni-frankfurt.de/~pesch/

I´ll probably do that. But when you´re un-experienced with PCs in general, you don´t really think about stuff like that.
