Hi, long time lurker and 1st time poster.

Long story short....

I was installing a large HDD to my Xbox so I copied the backup eeprom file to my PC via FTP. Then I noticed the eeprom file type is listed as "AVG Update File". AVG is my antivirus program and I have no idea why the backup Xbox files are showing up as AVG updates files.

I completely deleted the AVG program and tried again but the files are still showing up the same way. I went to properties and choose notepad as the defalt program to open them but they still show as AVG files.

I can't lock my new HDD because the file type for the eeprom is wrong, any suggestions?
