i have Magic Swap disk and i have a DVD Burner.......What is the best way to Make back-ups?? Like what programs to use and What type of Blank CDs and how to copy them.
help please

Basic Guide for backing up PS2 games.
Warning this guide will not work for 90% of ps2 games, but some games require to be rebuilt.

Hardware Needed:
Modchip
or Swapmagic DVD with slide or fliptop
Dvd burner
Dvd ?r disks

Software needed:

Dvd Decrypter


1)Open up DVD Decrypter, set the tool to read mode. Select your Dvd Rom drive which you PS2 game is currently in and then select the destination drive.

2)Click decrypt and wait for the process to complete

3)Now change the mode to Write and throw in a dvd ?r disk, select the file you just created in part one, and then choose the destination (Dvd drive)

4)Click write and make sure the speed is set on 4x.

Take out the disk and enjoy your backed up game.

RAEIS a simple search would turn up hundreds of detailed guides on how to back up ps2 games, THE BEST PROGRAMME FOR THIS IS DVD Decrypter it is free and can still be downloaded from this site, just follow black-ice's guide

yeah they are all right

both dvd decrypter and alchohol 120% is good
i have been using them for a while and haven't had that many coasters yet

and o yeah don't go all cheap when you are buying the blank dvd's
i use fujifilm and sometimes ritek both are very good
