Im shopping for DL DVD+Rs and Im wondering what price should be paid for them. Ive seen them as low as US $3.50 per disc (Memorex). Has anyone seen lower prices? And if cheaper... then where can I get them? I dont want to have expensive coasters laying around.

Hey there nemesees,
I've not seen any DL media less then $5 USD in my local stores; with that said I've noticed that shopping for bargains isn't always the best idea when buying dvd media. The best thing you could do is find who the quality suppliers are and stick with them I like Verbatim and Philips myself. Each player is different and what works in one may not work in another due to outdated firmwares and such. Frankly I don't feel that the DL media is worth buying yet; although my burner and software support it I can't afford $5 coasters and therefore will not buy it as there are going to be coasters regardless. For less the 75 cents per disk I stick with SL media for now. Anyway if you insist on burning DL media now then cosider buying according to quality and not price.
