Installing a new DVD player:

Hello,

I was just wondering if anyone had experienced the following problem and remedied the problem by installing a new DVD player in the Xbox.

I have a softmodded xbox and was trying to upload the Kingdom Under Fire DVD to the hard drive. The Xbox is softmodded and it's a version 1.0. Problem is the FTP client only sees SOME of the files, and the game won't load either from the DVD itself or from the harddrive after the copy. It seems my DVD player doesn't see all the files.

However, on my unmodded version 1.7 Xbox, the game plays just fine.

So I thought I might upgrade the DVD player.

Anyone else noticed problems seeing all the files from the FTP client on a softmodded or chip modded Xbox?

How did you fix it?
