1) repair video: try DivFix (free program) or Video Fixer (not free, but better). Not 100% guaranteed, and be sure to back up first.

2) joining videos: what kind of files do you have (e.g. AVI, mpeg)?

I you're trying to convert them into dvd compliant format, try VSO DivXtoDVD. You can add more than one avis before converting. If you just want to join the avis without converting, try Power Video Converter or X Video Converter.

Good luck!

The Release Candidate version of DivXtoDVD 2 is out. WIth this version it is much easier to add all the file you want and order them correctly. DivXtoDVD 2 supports subtitles and has its own burning engine.

(currently the trial version has a watermark that totally slows down the conversion process, I suggest waiting until the grand release, probably in a week or two to try out this new soft---that way you can see really how fast it is, and burn without the watermark.

(the new trial of DivXtoDVD 2 will allow for 1 week of totally free use, after one week of being installed on your computer a watermark will appear--the watermark slows down conversion by as much as 2x---and of course is visible after burning)
