from the previous genretion of console the xbox really injured the ps2 in terms of graphic quality with people noticed in the e3 expo late year wen the dead or alive 3 came out....
well this year the battle i agree is head on...
and from what i hav inspected on both console they are both good machines but and indepth look at the specs in general performas and stress level the xbox 360 takes the lead at 89 percent and ps3 at 80 ..
this is because the ps3 is built on an ideal of being a computer not a game console the SPUs what are seven in number pack a huge power but are not designed to process graphic quility .. they are soley for The Cell's seven DSPs (what Sony calls SPEs) have no cache, no direct access to memory, no branch predictor, and a different instruction set from the PS3's main CPU. They are not designed for or efficient at general purpose computing. DSPs are not appropriate for game programming.
and also wen u bring the sorage fact in place the ps3 has 48GB/s of space and the xbox 360 is at 278.4GB/s making the xbox even have more excess space to perform task and graphic processing even beter taking all the punch the game can give it ... but in time the ps3 would burn out... due to pressure so i would say xbox 360 is a better console given games more general needs ....
even online the xbox 360 with this space present in its disposal it would surpass the ps3 ....well believe me the compitition is tight and the end is yet to come.!!!!!

the isnt going to come with a HD so i wont use and nintndo isnt going use a HD.
xbox360.im going to get AOE3 every one should buy one when it comes out.

your right its funny since IBM and Toshiba was making the cell for their laptops then sony wanted something new in their console so said they will pay for some of the cost.
xbox360.im going to get AOE3 every one should buy one when it comes out.
