k, my friends laser on his 'fat' ps2 is putting 3/8 inch of a scratch in circle formation, can u fix that?

also my uther friend is having problems with his 'fat' ps2 laser ,it wont play ps2 games everytime he puts it in, he has to reset his ps2 2 or 3 time before the game will boot, and the reason why i am asking this for him is that he dont have the internet(bummer)
