Hi all, i just bought Killzone on PS2 and it doesnt work!! My PS2 is about 3 years old and plays all my other games perfectly, but this swine wont load up. It gets to the menu screen, i select the disc, the screen goes black and i can hear the disc trying to spin, then it goes back to the menu screen. I heard Killzone pushes the ps2 to its limit but c'mon! Its a silver disc, not blue as i hear blue are crapola! any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

if its the original then sony will replace it i just read that somewhere. if you a talking about backup with swapmagic then dont know my backup worked first time,maybe try diff media to copy.

Thanks gillies but its not a backup copy. Bought it brand new. Actually, i already swapped it once. The first copy i bought didnt boot up so i took it back and they gave me another one and it didnt work either. must be a problem with my ps2. But all my other games play, including Rugby 2005. i dont get it. its really pissing me off. i tried increasing the speed that the disc spins from standard to fast, that didnt work. Turned the console upside down then tried to boot it up, didnt work. Next i will try the sticky tape trick, maybe its not catching the disc so it can spin. im reluctant to open it up as i dont wanna screw it up. i dont think the laser is dirty as it doesnt say disc read error, it just wont spin properly to boot it up. I can hear it trying to spin but just cant get going. well, thanks anyway.

your ps2 is about to r.i.p soon thats what happen to my ps2 works on some games and some games wouldn't work i tried adjust the laser and everything it will eventually die.
