Hi there from a confused newbie!

I have successfully converted a couple of AVI downloads to DVD (using DivXtoDVD and DVD Shrink), and yet have tried others and got audio sync problem on the DVD files (audio mismatch right through). All AVI files for conversion have been XVid MPEG-4 Video and MPEG Layer-3 Audio (as reported by AVICodec). I have tried to fix the problem by changing the codecs to DivX first (using AviC), but this makes no difference.

Any clues as to why one should convert OK and another not? All AVI files are fine when run on PC.
