When I try to use the Media Player Classic in any build over version 1.25 of the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack, I can't turn off the subtitles on OGM movies. In the options I have all the double star (**) options checked and the subtitle option appears when I right click. The strange thing is that the subtitle options [I]DO[/I] work; when I rightclick and go to subtitle, I can turn on and off the subtitles, but there's another set of subtitles right under it, with a lighter shade, like they're embedded. AND if there are multiple subtitles, I can switch to, let's say Spanish, then the Spanish subs will then appear above the seemingly embedded default (usually English) subtitles!

This has only been a problem with versions 1.33 and 1.34 of the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack, but it works fine in version 1.25. Uninstalling the newer version and reinstalling the older one seems to fix it, but only on one of the two computers I?ve tried. On the other computer, the subs are still broken. And I want the newer version, not that i've noticed any better performance, but just because it's newer. Does anyone know if there's some new setting I have to turn on or off to stop OGMs from having embedded subs?
