What is a Premodded XBOX? Is just a new, untouched one. If so, then why are some web sites selling them for over $200.

A premodded Xbox is a new Xbox that has been modified with a modchip installed. The system is new, the seller only opens it to put the modchip in, that's why it costs more than a retail Xbox.

go to the xboxscene.com forums. there is a 'shopping' section where sellers all over the us post their cities and offer modding services as low as $11 for a TSOP flash.

I do xbox mods. If you want the xenium or x3 installed i will do it for $40 if you supply the chip(version 1.0-1.5 xbox) and $50 for version 1.6 if you supply the chip. of course you will be required to pay for shipping to and from me. I live in Houston TX. email me if you are interested.

You can play any game w/ a softmodded Xbox, but those games are the only ones you can use to get started....

Just make sure you follow all of the instructions verbatim, cause if you make a mistake you will have a really big paper-weight. It seems like you are a beginner(i'm not trying to down you, i was there once too), so please read everything you can about this before you try it.
