Hi, this is my first attempt at backing up my DVDs. I started to use DVDDecrypter but my DVD is 7.1Gb. So I switch to DVDShrink and in that programme, the bar at the top was wholly green, suggesting it was 4.2 Gb.

Shrink then suggested I needed to download Nero as well - which is a cost option.

Is there a simple and free way I can backup my 7.1Gb disc to a blank DVD+R to play in my DVD player?

You can configure DVD Shrink, to output as an ISO, and autoburn with DVD Decrypter...see the link in my sig for guides.
