I have a dlink broad band router my modem plugs in to that and i connect ma computer to the router to use the net but ow do i connect the ps2 to the router to play online games and will it work as it as built in firewall. I am asking on behalf off my self and members off ww.rlfans.com as the new rugby league 2 game is comeing out and a few dot no how to get the ps2 online. I also have backups like socom 2 do theses work or just the origonal copys

If you patch your backups with the oringinal DNAS number you can get your backups to play online.

yes but how do i get the ps2 to work on the net as i have no idea how to connect it to a broadband router

its easy you connect the modem to the router then the router to the computer. then another port going to the ps2.

insted of conneting to the computer 2 connect to your ps2

on my ps2.

I no how to set up my net and connect it to pc i plug the network cable in to the pc and the other side in the router but on ps2 there no place at all to plug it in to the ps2

hey you prolly have the bigger ps2 not the slim one right, if you do have the original ps2 you will have to buy the network adapter it plugs into the back of the ps2 and allows you to plug the ethernet cable into it. the network adapter isnt to much $$, but if you or any of your mates have the slim ps2 it is already built in.

Any major games store will have the ps2 ethernet cards, or they'll be able to order them if they don't have them in stock.
