I burned 3 of these suckers and none will work on my dvd. i tried dvd decryptor and shrink to no avail. Each disc gives me a disc dirty error! But each will play in my dvd on the computer? Please help if you can, Im going broke buying these things!

Have you tried booktyping them to dvd-rom? What brand are the disc's?

Not all standalones will play dual layer disks especially if the standalone is older. Also, OU812Ono is correct your player may not play +R format. Go here and check out your standalone to see what it plays.

Thanks for the replies. they are verbatim DVD+R DL. I have a sony dvd player that plays all formats. Its weird because it says disc is dirty, never seen that before this. tried using decryptor and shrink/nero and same result. plays on computer but not dvd player.
maybe crappy discs. thanks

I have done several Verbatim +R dual layers, they are one of the best disks. I have used Decrypter iso read and then write mode and have had not problems. Make sure that you burner firmware is up to date if it is not it could be what is causing the problem.
