Yea I got 3.59GB of avi movies I wanna burn so what program do you suggest using. I tried WinAVI and converted to MPEG2 but when I tried burning it I kept getting this dumb error. I kno that I probly wont fit all those 21 movies into one DVD+R but I wanna fit atleast 10 on one and 11 on the other so help cuz I need some advice.(I THINK THE SIZE OF THE SCREEN AND PLAYRATE IS TOO FAST OR SOMETHING)

(Would Nero Reloaded be good? If so would I b able to select which video I'd like to view?)z

PS- The avi movies are a bunch of simpsons episodes

hi there...

You can fit many AVI's per disc, but remember that quality will decrease accordingly. That is, for better quality few episodes.

First you need to convert all of your ÁVI's to MPEG-2 DVD compliant format. I got WinAVI too and it does a reasonably good job, and it's fast also. Keep the bitrate lower than 6000 bps if possible, otherwise when played on a stand alone DVDPlayer image could look jerky.

Then you need an authoring tool, such as DVDLab Pro or TMPG DVD author, for putting desired files onto a project and creating menus (if desired too). Once all the project has been compiled by the authoring tool (that is, it converts them to VOB, IFO and BUP files) do not burn immediately.

First open DVD Shrink and let the tool compress your project until it fits a disc. It's recommended to let Shrink do the compression most of the time.

Once DVD Shrink has finished doing the compression, you can burn with your burning application (such as Nero, for instance)...

voilà!
