A strange thing happens when I attempt to play back copied DVDs. If I put the DVD +R disc in a stand alone 4+year old DVD player I get numerous audio+video glitches. If I play that same DVD+R disc in the DVD player/burner on my PC it plays without a hitch. What could be causing this??? Im using DVD Decrypter + CloneDVD2 ...for media I am using RIDATA 16X speed DVD+R discs. When I do the initial burn Ive slowed it down to a mere 2x speed....Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

your player may not get along with the media you are using. If your burner and software you're using to burn are capable you could try to booktype the +R disc to a DVD-ROM, making compatibility a bit better.

If that doesn't work, try different discs altogether. I'd go with Verbatim with the Super AZO Dye or Taiyo Yuden if you buy online.

Older dvd players can have trouble playing +R. Try booktyping the +R to a dvd-rom, if your burner supports this function or try burning to -R. The -R format is older than the +R, this makes -R more compatible with older dvd players. From what I've seen dvd-roms play in every dvd player
Sorry for the echo, didn't see you squizzle
