Hey guys,
I want to that you for your help this has been an amazing forum! Now to my question, I got a RAR (Winrar) file (4.35GB) that contains a movie's .iso (Video_TS, Audio_TS). When I burned the WinRAR file using both DVD Santa (Disc image or DVD folder option) and DVD Dycrypter (ISO>Write mode) I got a cannot play error on My dvd player. What do you guys advise my of doing? Should I extract the ISO to a specified folder and burn the Video_ts.ifo? I highly doubt its my burner or DVD player since they have worked fine for me in the past.

Any help appreciated,
Alex

if the rar file contains just the iso... extract the iso out and burn the iso to the dvd (not the rar).

probably wrong format in the ISO (meaning it may be a PAL movie and you're in NTSC land or vice versa). Use ISO Buster to get the files out of the ISO, then follow this guide to convert:

how would I know its PAL? Is there a way I can find out. When playing the DVD on my computer the DVD works.

Get IFOEdit (free), open it up and click Open, then find one of the IFO files (after using ISO Buster to break apart the ISO first). It should tell you whether it's NTSC or PAL format. You can also double-click on where it says NTSC or PAL if you need to change it.
