need help with my dms 4 pro chip

ok just to start off i have the ps2 slim with a dms4 pro chip i bought it at with the chip and it worked fine know when i put a game that i own the ps2 will not boot the disk when the chip is on it will go to the screen and just show a disk and my memoire cards. But when i turn the chip off and try to boot a reg non burned game it will boot the disk. well so i gess the problem is how do i get my chip to boot the games that i burned and own with out turning the chip off like it did when i got the ps2
