I am having trouble locating all files used by DVD Decrypter to delete after I have backed up all necessary DVD's. I currently do not have a large HD, therefore am only backing up one DVD at a time, however sometimes deleting all files from my desktop folder I have created does not delete all information on my HD. Is there a way to locate the files by doing a search to make sure they are all deleted?

It should only be putting the files where you tell it to. Do you maybe have Norton installed? If so check your protected recyle bin. If you have done that you could try searching for [.vob , .IFO , and .BUP] this should locate any of your DVD files and also try [.ISO]

Cheers

Thank you both. Yes, I did have Norton installed and acutally after starting this thread read someone having a similar situation so now know to delete the protected files as well. Appreciate both of the quick responses...saves about 10-15 gig.
