I have a problem burning some cds. half way through the first cd it came up with some errors but now i cant even play an audio cd

i would be greatful if anyone has any ideas or help

does windows recognize the drive?? how old is the drive & have you tried a cd/dvd disk cleaner on it

yes the drive is in device manager and comes up with working with no problems or conficts its not that old . i have trieda cd cleaner but i cant get it to play anything it wont show that there is a disc in the drive
