well this is a bit different but i have recently installed bigger drive to my ps2 but want to format old one back to put in my pc as back up what is best and simplest way thanks ps i have installed it back in pc but when i go to my computer it is not showing drive but it shows it being dtected on boot up

you'll most likely need to fdisk it so you can partition it and format to a file system the pc can understand.
