hey which modchip is better the DUO 2 SE ModChip or The Magic 3.1
becuz i am looking for sumthin that will play games that i burn at home from my dvd player and burned dvds and stuff back up games
so get back to me soon thanks guyz

i have heard good things about the duo 2 se. i have seen few complaints about it.

i have the magic 3.1+D9 modchip. it has worked beautifully for me. boots all my DVD-R backups w/ no problem. good for DVD+R too. and suppose to be good for DVD+R DL.

i think your good to go on either chip.

well i think im going to go with the duo 2 se
but umm...so i can burn a game at home from my dvd burner and play it right and it doesnt kill the life of ur ps2..or a lot a slow loading and freezing ...??? well thanks

yeah, i know that wasn't much help but....

you can just make an iso of the original game with almost any kind of software and burn the iso onto a dvd or cd. then with the chip installed, you will be able to boot and play the backup just as if it was an original.

however, the backup's are harder for the laser to read so after time, the laser will go a little faster than just playing originals.
