So it's NeroVision that's converting the AVI to DVD format? There's other programs out there you may want to check into, avi2dvd, DivXtoDVD, etc...I use DivXtoDVD, it's fast and easy to use.

there are many variables as to why you burn so long! Check out my signature...... I listed what my computer has...... I can use DVDDecrypter and then use DVDRemake to take out all unwanted screens, comercials and such.... then I use DVDRebuilder to compress the movie down to a DVD5 (that's a single sided DVD+-Rs)while keeping quality, and then burn the movie using CopyToDVD all within 1 1/2 hours! My computer is very fast with Hyper Threading (dual processors). Also, aside from your computer, it sounds like you are converting files to a DVD format, using your programs, and that is what's taking so long.

tell us what programs you are using, what's in your computer you use and how you are doing everything, and we can try to help you out better!
